Q. What do I use for my login name and password?
A. Teachers and District Staff- Use your district login. This would be the same as OWA (District E-mail). If you do not know your district login, please contact the Help Desk @ 415-241-6476. Please have your employee ID ready for verification.
Q. Do I need to submit a grade for my Homeroom students?
A.Yes. All current students must receive a grade. Homeroom students should receive an "N" for No Mark. You can select "N" from the drop down menu within the Grades Due window or you can create a gradebook assignment for the Homeroom mark, that can be exported into the Grades Due window. The instructions on how to perform this task are below:
Q. How can students access School Loop?
A: Every student at your school site should have a School Loop account. If students do not know their username or password, your administrators or School Loop Liaison can request for a list of student usernames and passwords by submitting a SFUSD IT Service Request Ticket at http://help.sfusd.edu.
Q. How can parents access School Loop?
A: Parents must register at your school site's School Loop. Parents will need their child's student number and an functional email address. For more details, please see the Parent section.
Q. I do not see students that are suppose to be in my class. How can I give them grades?
A: Student roosters are data display from SFUSD student information system (SIS). Meaning, that if your students are in the master schedule then they should be in School Loop. To check, please click here and follow the reorder/hide process. If you still are having issues, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. If I have questions and need help for School Loop, who can I contact?
A: If you have questions about School Loop, you may do the following:
1) If you need help with School Loop specific questions, click on the red "Help" link at the top of this page. The Help section has an abundance of information about School Loop. Teachers can also submit a ticket directly to School Loop for additional help, see picture below. Or teachers may email Help@schoolloop.com. The School Loop company's support hours are Monday-Thursday, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on holidays.
2) If you have issues with class rosters, course conflicts or any data related issues, please submit a SFUSD IT Service Request Ticket @ http://help.sfusd.edu. The Help Desk is available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding holidays and furlough days.
3) Lastly, the SFUSD IT School Loop team, can be reached at email@example.com. The SFUSD School Loop team's hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays and furlough days.
Q. My gradebook is all up to date. How come my students only see old grades in their School Loop portal?
A. When adding grades to your assignments, make sure you click on the “Publish” button to display the grades for your students. Every time you enter new grades or make changes to grades, you will need to click on the “Publish” button to update the grades displayed for your students.
